Tuesday: Woke up early, seriously at 6:30, and met up with the three other moms and only teenage girl for an am dolphin watch. Of course the navigation had us driving over 30 minutes when the location was only 15 minutes from where we were and we were supposed to be there at 7:30. We got there at 7:32 after calling 3 times to get proper directions. We still missed the boat. Luckily for whatever his reasons, the captain felt bad and came back to get us. After apologizing profusely to the captain and the other riders, we spent a glorious morning watching family after family of dolphins. It was the perfect way to start the day.
Then we went back to our places and took naps before meeting back up to take the kids to the water park. Now I won't say I didn't have fun, I did. The best parts for me were the looks of pure elation on Linky's face in the water. The boy has no fear whatsoever and swears he can swim because he did not want to be held and only wanted "Svimmin". The other pleasing moments were daddy and Maddy going on the big water rides together. Just made my heart sing.
We ended the evening by getting some Friday's and passing out by 10 pm! Now that's a vacation day!!
