Can't Help It

Link is 8 months old and I still find myself waking up on the middle
of the night to put a hand on his chest to feel his precious heart
beating and listen to his breathing. When does that fear go away. I'm
told never, b/c even when they're grown and gone from the nest, you
have different fears to worry about. Ah, motherhood!
