Reading Like Crazy!

I forget sometimes -- with work, kids, hubby, home, responsibilities, et cetera -- just how much I enjoy reading. English teacher that I am, I don't often get to read what I want during the school year. Instead, I end up loading up my summer with mainly NY Times Best Seller's List and a few suggestions.

This summer has been no exception, so far I've read:
  1. The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest
  2. Perfect Peace
  3. Someone Knows My Name
And I'm currently reading The Passage. I love vampire novels, movies, TV shows (Ah, Sookie!), so this novel is definitely giving me my fix. When I requested this book from the library I had no idea it was 829 pages long!! I've been reading for 2 days and am already on page 349. This book is delicious. I won't give any spoilers. I was like a little kid in the car today trying to explain what I've read so far to hubby. I can totally see this becoming a movie or TV series, it's just that good. From the very first page, you're hooked. The tone is set and the stage is ready. The way that Cronin builds the story has me itching to get further into the "what's going to happen next?" and "where is SHE?" and "how long can they survive like that?". I'm loving it and all I can hope is that all the reviews will not let me down when I get to the end.

Gotta run! Page 350 is calling my name like crack!!!!!!!!

I downloaded The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and the The Girl who Played with Fire to my Kindle, but I've not had the time to read them. I can't wait for a few days off to read. Finding the time seems impossible.
