Falling Apart But Looking Good While Doing It...

The good news? I'm not missing the cost of maintaining permed hair! I finally had my first appointment with my new natural hair salon, Natural Roots, and had my hair assessed. My hair is still very healthy, the permed hair falling out is normal (which I've read every where too), I have about one inch worth of new growth, and she didn't think I needed to do any cutting...yet. Normally, a wash, deep condition, and perm would cost me about $80-100 depending, this was lovely twist set was a fraction of that. I've been rocking these twists since Tuesday, I've gotten a lot of compliments on it this way, and tomorrow is the big pull out! I can't wait to see how it turns out!

The bad news? I have had this ongoing problem with my right eye for years. Episcleritis. Without getting all technical it happens when my sinus explodes into my eye causing redness, swelling, and excruciating pain. Any other time this has happened the eye doctor normally would give me my steroid eye drops and send me on my way...well, not this time. The eye doctor said that if this is recurring then maybe I should see an ENT for my sinus because he couldn't detect anything wrong with my eye or socket. I went to the ENT and they said they really didn't see anything wrong with my sinus and maybe I should go back to the eye doctor, when I explained what the eye doctor said, then the ENT wanted to say, "Well, there is a possibility that your sinus is blocked which could cause the Episcleritis, let's get you a CAT scan and go from there." DUH!

Tomorrow's my the scan after work...I'm falling apart.

Oh, and as usual my lady parts are all messed up. I had a double infection that was causing pain like you would not believe!! My OB swears it has nothing to do with the cryoablasion but I told her I'm getting these type of infections way more frequently since I've had the procedure. "Some women are just more susceptible after these type of procedures. Sorry." Gee, thanks!

What a week of pain I've had to endure...but at least I looked good! Right?

I'm sorry to read that you are going through so much. As a woman is currently pregnant with twins at the moment, I realize that discomfort is just plain ol' that - discomfort!

Here's hoping that they rectify all that is going on and that while looking good you can be feeling good too!

Aww, so sorry to hear that you had such a painful week. Praying the scan reveals the root of the problem. And yep, your twists looked awesome! Can't wait to see pics of the twistout!
